#ECU is working to get South Carolina in Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium in 2019 according to @ECUADCompher .

Have talked to some folks after this aired and its pretty much set. Contract called for two games in Greenville.

Anytime you get an SEC team to go on the road and visit you, its a big deal.

Too far out. These return games need to be scheduled no more than two years after playing at their place.

I hope they honor it. So many teams buy out the return trips leaving P5 programs with a hole. Would have happened last year for UCF if they did not agree to move the Penn State game to Ireland

As a South Carolina resident I can tell you that the Gamecocks rarely venture on the road for OOC games other than Clemson. In the last 20yrs other than their annual rivalry game that has them at Clemson every other year the only OOC games that South Carolina has played on the road are ECU, UVA, NCST, UNC and UCF.

1997 was the last time they visited Greenville so it only took 22yrs to get them to come back 04-cheers I am guessing we will have close to 60k seats by then and based on the close geographic proximity that allows a lot of their fanbase to attend the game it is a no brainer. ECU should have no problem offering up South Carolina as many visitor tickets as they get from SEC schools.

It would have been nice to work a Basketball game or two into the deal, but we don't do that.

RPI last year of 91, much better than what we normally schedule.
