The article stated

During the course of the year they can spend about 1,750 practicing, playing and traveling to and from games, which is more than many full-time employees work during a year.

Hmmm. I was under the impression a full-time job entailed 2,080 hours a year.

Players from a P5 school where they travel by plane to their away games make me want to 03-puke Bet they're not staying at a Motel 6 or Super 8.

The current threshold is 30 hours/week.

O'Bama full time. My company bases benefits such vacation and sick days on hours for most employees. What's happened is a concentration of payroll to fewer employees. We've actually reduced the # of employees because of the lower threshold.
