2015 bowl projections
The Sporting News, Jerry Palm of cbssports.com and Ralph Russo of the AP have Toledo in the Camellia Bowl. Athlon says the Boca Raton Bowl. ESPN has two guys that make predictions. One says Boca Raton, one says the Bahamas.

Same answer, waste of time, nobody has played a game, yet. We could go 0 -12, then what?

Then we can hang our hats on a preseason prediction of the Rockets spending a few mid-December days in lovely Montgomery!

Meaningless to be sure with respect to how the post-season will turn out, but still interesting to see how various sports writers view teams before the season starts (and as it progresses).

It is a harmless enough endeavor while waiting for the season to start.

Right, from what I have seen at practice, this team should go at least 10 -2, maybe 11-1, but I am only a fan, I don't have to suit up and go out there an play every game. Lot will depend on injuries. We are very deep at RB and don't worry about the OL.

Sports Illustrated's preseason projection has the Rockets headed back to the GoDaddy Bowl (this time against Louisiana Lafayette).

Yes and the Boca Raton Bowl moved from 23rd to the 22nd the Tuesday before Christmas. The Miami Beach Bowl is on Monday the 21rst.

RE: 2015 bowl projections
So, how many 5-7 teams will go bowling? And how they will be chosen? Brett McMurphy of ESPN weighs in about this (especially about selecting the teams).

Maybe we can get one or two 4-8 teams in a bowl. 05-stirthepot

Here's a link.

Big 12 commissioner suggests that if there aren't enough teams with at least 6 wins, some bowls might not be played. If not this season, then next season.

Two bowl spots have been filled: Middle Tennessee State is going to the Bahamas Bowl and Navy will be playing at home in the Military Bowl.
