I've been making fun of all these fancy beers you guys have been going on about and saying I like what is considered by you guys piss beer. So admitting that I drink a Sam Adams once in a while would be a shameful secret. Just a poor attempt at humor.

What I found funny was that Sam Adams is so big nowadays that it's practically not "craft" beer anymore. But regardless, it at least doesn't taste like total butt.

This is the Awesome "New" Falls City Beer. My Pub Choice #1

Way different from the "old" Falls City Beer

and the Heilman brewed disaster.

They had another beer they marketed starting back in 1975 called Drummand Brothers. It was very cheap! I remember buying a case for something like $6.99, iced it down and went to Greensboro to see Willie Nelson and Family w/ Leon Russell. Good times. Our favorite band back then, The Bill Lyerly Band, had a promotional deal with them so we got lots and lots of free Drummond Bros. I don't think it lasted long, maybe three years before the company went under though.

They also created This !^

along with Drummond Bros.

I like those "piss beers" to, I'm a Bud man. The blue aluminum bottles are my favorite. My dad & uncle used to drink Old Milwaukee & I always snuck a sip, that was awful beer.

My brother in law got me drinking these to.

One of the things I enjoy most is drinking a nice cold one with wings from a place called Windjammers, while I watch SU on tv. Or after I get done mowing the lawn and taking my beer out of the freezer, when its just starting to frost. It doesnt get much better than that.

I went to the now closed Quaker Steak & Lube in Rochester a couple of Years ago. Loved it as I like the Automotive theme They had. Beer was cold and Wings were Blazing. Unfortunately One of the Servers made a copy of Our debit card and later used it at a grocery nearby a couple of months later but got caught the next time He tried to use it. Heard They had a Hell of a Cruise and Bike nights. Too bad They closed

I didnt know that place was closed. I went there once when it first opened. It seemed like a low rent biker bar, so I never went back. The next time you;re in Rochester, you got to get wings from Windjammers. They are on lake Ave out at Charlotte Beach. They have dry rubbed wings that are out of sight. I always get the harbor rubbed or the garlic parmesan. I wouldnt eat there as it is loud and folks are always drunk and some old raggedy lady will inevitably try to pick you up. I always order take out. Its worth it.

I went somewhere on the Lake with My Nephew whom is a CPA in Rochester. We had to park and cross the road. It was the only place on the beach there that sold Beer. You had to go up some steps to get to the beach front. Had sand and was roped off too. It was very crowded. Is that Windjammers ?Sounds familiar. He said it was one of the well-known hot spots.

There are actually a lot of restaurants and bars at Charlotte Beach. I don't know where you were. But the next time ask him to take you there. Windjammers is just a whole in the wall type place. But there wings are spectacular and they are always crowded.

Things that taste better than Beer:

cat urine, vomit, donkey balls

Things I'd rather do than drink beer:

Vote for Obama, move to Antarctica, root for WVU

They're still opening up Quaker Steak & Lube's here in the Pittsburgh area. It's one of the few places in this area that has some nice wings.

The one in Rochester, when I went to the Web site said it was closed but as crowded as it was and the Car and Bike events there it seemed hard to believe it went under. it's been almost 3 years now sine I went there though. Cool Place
