Sad WTF is CATA thinking changing its name to Rock Region Metro!!!
There was nothing wrong with the name CATA (Central Arkansas Transit Authority)!!!

Why not keep the acronym and make the change to Capital Area Transit Authority!!!

The name change will cost taxpayers money!!! Rebranding costs so far include $25,588 for paint and painting labor and $59,386 for new bus stop signs and installation!!!

The rollout is part of a larger initiative revolving, ultimately, around a 0.25 percent sales tax devoted to mass transit that would pay for the construction and operation of two routes in the Little Rock economic core using Bus Rapid Transit, a form of transit equipped with high-capacity buses!!!

It's been CATA since 1986! Change is a bad thing!!!

STOP THE MADNESS!!!

Go! Little Rock Trojans! Go!
