Speaking from experience... You must get the correct pronunciations prior to the recording and then write the names down phonetically...Sit down with either the player or someone from the Athletic Dept..

It needs to be part of your preparation

And here is how it is listed on his roster page on the website:

Full name is Joel Alexandre Balu Bouagnon and is pronounced Jo-ELL Oll-EX-on BOIN-ya.

http://www.niuhuskies.com/sports/m-footb...55193.html

Hence, my earlier post about differing pronunciations being distributed.

That's his middle name. You know those French!

If it's the same time as the last 2, it'll be late tomorrow night.

I listened to episode 3 on the way to work today. Nice shout out to this board and some of the discussions. Overall a quality podcast and much improvement over the first 2.

However, anyone who is willing to come out on the podcast and say they don't like Chicago style pizza better be ready to go run and hide.

I can think of a certain guy who is on record regarding his love of Chicago pizza.

I agree, they are getting better with each show. I like the weekly interviews, and the "sell me on..." segment is fun. I would like to hear them talk about what's going on in camp.

I like New York style pizza made in Chicago best. There, I said it.

RE: Huskiewire Second Podcast
People always try and say Chicago style isn't as good as new york style and vice versa. What gets lost in the whole thing is that New York style pizza is not thin crust pizza, and NO ONE does thin crust pizza better than Chicago. No one. Also, deep dish is better than new york style, if I wanted to swim in a pool of pizza grease, i'll hit up dominoes.

Lou Malnati's nuff said!

You don't realize how much you take Chicago foods for granted until you move away.

*also when you realize things you grew up w/ was only a regional thing. I remember asking for a side of giardaneira in a Subway in Arizona, and they looked at me like.

I just found out last month Pizza Puffs are a Chicagoland thing, tried to describe to coworkers and they had no clue, i thought every kid in america had a pizza puff.

Every time I return to Illinois for an NIU football game, my family and I go to Gino's East the night before the game.
