I'd say look at the preseason rankings (4 teams in the East got a lot of votes while 3 teams from the West did), and I would say it would have to be a surprise team at the bottom of both divisions.

temple doing 8-4 isn't over achieving that is probably the going projection

my vote is tulsa for making a bowl....their offense honestly wasnt that bad last year, they return almost everyone, add an elite OC as Head coach

With ECU being predicted 4th in the east I'd say ECU "overachieves".

I'm going with Tulsa. I think their offense will improve from their 91st in the nation in scoring last season which could result in an additional 1-2 wins. Considering they're picked to be last in the conference, 3-4 wins would be overachieving.

I'll say Navy wins the west.

I will say Temple, but only if a 10-2 record (regular season) and a win over one of either PSU or Notre Dame.

Given the heavy voting for UC at the top, I think Cincinnati will underachieve. This opens the door for other eastern teams to overachieve. I'll go with Temple.

I'd say SMU or U- Conn will surprise this year, maybe both.

I'm not being a homer here but with how everyone is predicting Tulsa to finish, I am going to choose them. I can see a 5-6 win season ahead and that would be overachieving to what most here have predicted for us.
