Seem to recall this one posted.... Anyhow, we could offer but he'd probably just end up a one-and-done at Wake Forest.

Curious as to how he's a "3 star" QB if he's from some podunk league and why anyone would care his league if he's a 3 star? Also curious why the MVC is looking past him. Story's not all there.

His throwing motion is questionable and his ball flight resembles a wounded duck

Then we should be recruiting his WRs. You ever try to catch a duck?

Similar story last year but, as I recall, that young man was from northern New Mexico.

Nice article.

I grew up in MT. HS sports there are rural on a scale that OH and MI can't imagine. Some conference games involve overnight stays. Tournaments and winter weather can mean that b-ball teams and bands wind up having to improvise and find a church or another H.S. gym where they can sleep for the night. It's not that the bus drivers aren't used to driving in winter conditions. It's just that sometimes mountain pass roads are closed entirely.

I imagine trying to get recruited out of Havre would be a real chore. With the time and money that it sounds like the family is spending trying to get to camps on college campuses, they're probably investing thousands chasing this kid's dream of a scholarship.

I don't know, threw one of those balls 55 yards in the air - from his 35 down to the 10 yard line and the receiver took it in for a score. probably can get it out further than that if he wanted. The elite HS QB's usually get it between 60 and 70 yards in those competitions after the season - maybe on Super Bowl Sunday when I saw it. So - he has an arm for only being a junior in that film. Didn't see any wounded duck passes, but hard to tell how much zip they have. but, he was very accurate with his throws.
