Tigers turn it up a notch in full pads

"There was a sense of anticipation around the University of Memphis football team Tuesday morning. The locker room was a little quieter than usual. Senior offensive lineman Micah Simmons could feel it."

Ok, I'm officially a fan of Tom Schad.

Thanks for this and the other link. I love this quote:
""We've got to embrace the culture that we've tried to set here and continue to fight through the grind," Fuente said."
The entire tenor of the program has changed so drastically in such a short period. It's mind blowing.

Same here. I like the coverage afforded by the CA and Schad's articles have been well written.

I should say that means I'll accept the criticism, which I will...when it comes...but man, I've not read this type of coverage for our team before, so I'm a bit excited about it.

Obviously I don't get the paper out here, but from what I'm hearing from people in Memphis, I might subscribe just to read this guy.

I think if and when Fuente ever gets another job...we hire yet another TCU assistant coach...

I truly believe this team is being built in the offseason through players being dedicated to their offseason training program.
