Most schools allow new recruits (HS or JUCO/Transfers) that enroll during the summer and have had NCAA Clearinghouse approval to go on international trips and play in games.
That's not the case with USF?

Freshmen Mc Murray the PG is there and playing , Santos the freshmen big man is there but is not playing, I believe he is recovering from an injury.
Freshmen big man Tulio Silva is coming in FAll not on trip
The graduate transfer big man from Gonzaga comes in Fall
Holston our three point shooter sophomore is there but recovering from injury. Not playing
Chris Perry is there but not playing full minutes coming back from the medical issue that kept him out from most of last year.

Even at full strength; it would have been very difficult for USF to beat Angola. Angola usually has several players that are near NBA level athleticism. They are no joke and those Angola guys and the guys from Congo, Senegal, Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast and South Africa usually have athletes as good as the USA. The difference is usually in overall basketball skills, because most of those kids from the African continent focus on soccer rather than basketball. Good trip for your program though and hopefully Antigua can get some of those kids to consider coming to USF. I hope that Lebo takes a trip like that some day, because there are some Amidah Briamah's over there just waiting to come to the USA.
