It looks like we have another receiver commit coming from him this weekend. This kid has major league speed. According to rivals he's supposed to visit this weekend and make his decision after that. He also says we're his leader. It seems like in Alabama and Mississippi were getting the kid that aren't quite good enough to play in the SEC. Or at least that how they are evaluated. But this kid has blazing speed.

Just saw where the kid has been clocked at 4.35.

So if this kid is that fast, why would $EC schools be passing on him? Because of his height?

No he's listed as 5'11 and 185 pounds so that's not it. He has 7 offers so he's getting noticed. One thing is his numbers aren't eye popping. I think his HS primarily uses him as a deep threat. I was wondering the same thing myself. The only thing I could think of is grades are a issue. But if we can get him on campus he could be a difference maker.

Alabama is a great state, much like MS, for under the radar football prospects.

If the 4.35 is accurate he could also see time as a DB one day.

The hudl vid showed the qb just lofted it high and far and let him run under it. Maybe some think his skills won't translate to hi level college ball.

In HS receivers don't run a lot of different kinds of routes. They learn that in college. You can't have enough kids on your teams with that kinda speed.

Let's cross our fingers and hope he can turn at least in one direction.
