The Chronicle is actually giving us full-bore coverage with Stephanie Kuzydym's reports. But we're going to lose it if we do not click and click again....and register written comments. Not from the same old guys each time, either. Tiki can't shoulder the whole load.

To tack on to Ricefootballnet's point, comments and clicks are huge. Another outlet for this is twitter. Retweets and interaction will help greatly.

I can get into the daily blogs but was trying to access the Driphus story. If I knew that we would get consistent coverage, I would subscribe.

I would much prefer to retweet her tweets. The Chronicle web site has become one long, tiresome ad fest, and I don't like how some sites are so slow because of all the various ads that are trying to load before your content can be seen. But I do like the Science Guy and comment on his blog quite a bit. You don't need to be a subscriber to comment on his blog either.

We just need to show our appreciation for the coverage. I'm trying not to comment more than once per article, but it might come to that...

I apologize for the double post, but I didn't want to start a new thread for the same topic. I have to say, Stephanie is working hard! It seems like every time I look on the chron, there is a new article about Rice. I can hardly believe it. I'm seriously considering subscribing to them online and letting them know that the Rice coverage from Stephanie is the reason.

We need to throw as much support on this as possible.

Does anyone else have trouble commenting from their phone? It won't even let me sign in.

I encourage everyone to *post actual links to the stories*. It would really make it easy to immediately click/comment.
The Rice section of the Sports page doesn't seem to be updated with the newest content.

For me as well. Every time I hit the comment button, it just opens up another window with the article.

Yeah, their mobile site is a mess. I want to support my Owls in every way that I can but having to also support the Chron to do so is a bit conflicting for me.

Does she have a Twitter account? Frustrating to see Duarte now doing 5-10 tweets a day on UH football for the Chron and zero from her.

Hmmm....are people having difficulties with the actual links to the stories that we post and update several times a day on Ricefootball.net?

I should bear in mind that not everyone is a subscriber, in fact most aren't -- I subscribe to the online edition, seldom read it -- but does that mean that a number of the direct links I've been posting are non functional for non subscribers? As I recall, Tiki et al have come up with a workaround that apparently will get you behind the paywall at least in some cases....

Please let me know if there are problems with the links we post. So far have 11 direct links to SK-bylined stories since she started on the Rice beat...can non subscribers only connect to the blog posts?

Am trying hard to be "one stop shopping" for Rice football news links....all suggestions are welcome....

She seems to have really stepped it up with the tweets the past two or three days. Need to give her a chance to settle in. She's really doing a great job so far, I think.....
