We will have the website up soon but I want to see if we can start the process on the message board. You don't need to disclose your identity. There is no pledge form. This is a non-binding process. I will keep a running total unless someone can figure out how we can keep a total as people pledge. Remember, your pledge is over a 5 year period. For example, if you are pledging $5,000 a year, your total pledge is $25,000 and I will count $25,000 toward the goal. This pledge is in addition to any other donations you make to JMU.

I will start it off with a $30,000 pledge ($6,000 over 5 years).

Look at this in just 3 hours we have over $120k in pledges!! Maybe 5 million won't be so hard after all? Sure it's non binding but still that's darn good to see this kind of support. I'll throw my hat in for $3,750 over 5 years ($750/yr).

We are up to $210,500 in pledges as of 10:42 a.m. on August 11, 2015. I received some private messages and some e-mails.

Being conservative, I'm good for $10K. If we actually move up, I'll likely do more, and would likely also upgrade the parking/seats.
