File folder question
I am needing to delete a file folder on my microsd card so I can put something on it. It is not letting me saying I need administrator privileges to do it. I don't get it as when I transfered stuff there I didn't set up any kind of network or admin privileges for it. Anyone have an idea how to fix this?

RE: File folder question
Try going to a command prompt, changing directories to the microsd card, and typing DEL /F /S *.*
You may need to delete files in any subdirectories, as well as the subdirectories, before you can delete the root directory. But it should work in the root directory.
NOTE: The /F switch will force deletion of read only files. The /S switch specifies all subdirectories.

RE: File folder question
Before you try Bitcruncher's solution, if you're using an SD card adapter to access that microSD, there is probably a tiny little switch, like the small grey one on the left in this picture. Make sure that switch is set to up and not down, because if it's down, you can't edit any of the contents of the card, hence "Lock"

RE: File folder question
I put the card in my brother's camera since it uses SD cards and formatted it clean. Then recopied the files over.
