Below is a link to the schedule if you're interested. Blue-Gold match is August 22nd, then things get started with the Rocket Invitational August 28 and 29th. Rockets will face Bradley, Green Bay and Youngstown State. Portland is also in the field.

UT will do better than it did last season, won't it? It can't do worse. Well, it could but I really don't want to think about that.

Really excited about the incoming class. If they can contribute immediately I could easily see a four or five win season.

UT lost the first set to Bradley 25-15. Second set is underway - UT leads 10-7.

UT wins set #2 25-17.

Rockets win the third set 25-18.

Rockets lose the fourth set 27-25.

Rockets lose the first match of the season as they drop set #5 17-15.

UT faces Green Bay tonight.

Considering that the Rockets didn't win a set until the 7th game last season, things are starting out a bit better.

Is anyone able to view the stream on the UT "Rocketvision" website? Nothing happens when I click on the live stream link. Tried multiple browsers.

Video seems to be working now, but game start must be delayed? 'cause they are only showing a loop of the roster video.

Bradley and Youngstown State went five sets, so that might be the reason for a delay. I'm just guessing, though.

Green Bay takes the opening set 25-20. Rockets starting a true freshman setter, along with a couple other freshmen.

Rockets trail 0-2, after losing the 2nd set 25-22. Rockets hurting themselves as they had about 5 service errors in that set. Led 12-7 at one point, but couldn't hold the lead. Very young team is gonna have ups and downs like that.

Rockets pull out set 3 25-22, with help of a controversial call that put UT up 24-22.

Crazy 4th set. Rockets came out on fire and won the first 6 points, but then went on just an awful streak and fell behind 19-11. Rockets turned it around and crept back in to get within 1 point, but in the end fell 25-23. GB wins the match 3-1.

Looks like it could be another long season. It looks like there is a lot of young talent on the team, but so many true freshmen, redshirt freshmen and sophomores means it is gonna take a while for them to gel as a team.
