Yeah, English really benched him...he only got 196 carries and 1,101 yards out of him his junior year, compared to the 85 carries that the clueless one got for him his senior year. Maybe it was because Ryan Brumfield was a juggernaut, what team did he sign with again? What! no one signed Brumfield?! Dude actually had 10 more carries than Hill his senior year, even though he averaged 3.7 yards per carry. Epic coaching fail.

English did bench Hill in his last two games--NIU and UT. Hill got 10 and 0 carries, respectively. For reference in those games Greene got 17 and 6 carries and Brumfield got 13 and 17 carries.

He may have just caught the game winning 2-point conversion pass!

On the TD throw he appeared to chop a potential blitz. Doing the little things to make the team.

Can't ignore the game-winning two point conversion. At the least, he'll be on the roster through the remaining preseason games. Good for him.

Both coaches benched Hill for lack of effort I believe. Genyk did the same with Sherrill I believe in his first year as coach.

I wish Hill the best as he purses his professional career. He certainly has the raw tools.

I thought Hill had a pretty nice game. Just watched the tape.

Assuming he gets cuts from Buffalo later in pre-season, he'll get picked up by someone else.

IMO, his best case scenario is that he finds his way to the Bills practice squad and gets promoted once injuries hit

I wasn't watching when Bronson played, but he had a good 2nd half Saturday vs. the Bills.

Survived a round of cuts this weekend.

His lack of playing time last season is looking worse with each round of cuts he survives. I still remember Rob Rubick talking about Hill during the UMass game, even though he was mired on the bench, he said Hill was going to have a chance to make an NFL roster next season. How come everyone could see it but Creighton? I'm not picking on the guy but NFL caliber running backs don't come through Ypsilanti very often and when they do, you have to cherish them like gold. Plus form all accounts, he is a great kid. Kurt Anderson vouched for the kid and swears by him.

Coaching changes and priorities change. As I stated before Sherrill was benched by Genyk his first year he wasn't on the same page. I assume the same with Hill who was benched by English a few times. Murphy has benched Lee several times as well despite his talent.

The fact is Bob you aren't the coach and neither am I. I'm not interested in personal agendas being put forth on this board regardless of whether's Roback starting Hill's past playing time etc.

I don't know whose fan you are, but it certainly isn't EMU.
