Yep that is the #12 team as voted by the coaches in CUSA giving probably the 2nd best team in the Big East a game in Morgantown.

I will take it with a 1st year coach. We will see how you guys do in Morgantown.

You ECU guys have been reduced to being happy about a close loss, wow. WVU is in rebuilding mode. This is probably as down a year they will have for a while. Same goes for the Bearcats.

I don't disagree with that. You know what is funny though, they will probably roll through the Big East conference with a 6-1 record in league play, and might even beat Louisville since it is in Morgantown. I give them a good shot.

04-cheers

How about another Western Carolina dog fight 04-rock

Wow post 3, and the 3rd one posting negativly about ECU.

Trend.. So who is your team oh nameless one? UNC?? NCSU??

This season is still long, plenty of oppertunities left in our gun, and I am not going to get to worked up over a loss in Morgantown to a team that may very well challenge for a BCS bowl. Also these aren't Holtz's players and everything is new, we will only improve over the course of the year, and return about everyone next year.

I'm not talking smack. I just find it funny that some ECU fans take pride in a close loss to a team that we beat just 6 years ago. Things have certainly change over the the years among Pirate fans that's for sure.

Man this guy has a special gift. What did you look at the records and coaching changes the last few year and discern that golden nugget?

Brilliant!!!

Huh? I just remember a time in ECU football where we were supposed to beat teams like WVU. That's not to say we did everytime but that's what was expected around here. Now we've become a program that just exicted about playing a team somewhat close. And this type of thinking bothers me.

Hey shocknawe thats pretty funny seeing a bearcat football fan talking trash!! First of all i never knew UC had any football fans!! But anyway that was an impressive win ya'll had over Western Carolina last week 7-3!!!! And what about that 28-26 win over MAC power Eastern Michigan!!!!!!! WOO baby UC football to the top!! Ya know atleast ECU has a win over a BCS school this season. And hell i would take a 20-15 lose to WVU over a 7-3 win over WCU anyday!!! WVU will beat UC by atleast 21 when ya'll play later the season. And at the end of the season i will bet my a$$ ECU has much better record than the bearcats!

Let me take you back to 2003 UC 40 ECU 3- UC's next stop is the Big East and a BCS conference. ECU= Looking forward to all the Non CUSA out of conference games in the coming years so they can hopefully not get blown out and come away with a close loss they can all be proud of. Seriously though you guys should do well against Rice.
