My thoughts exactly.

A JUCO transfer? Not the brightest bulb on the planet. We have more than enough good receivers on the team. Besides we are a RUNNING TEAM. Don't get worked up over this kid, I don't see him as a big time recruit.

The guy was very FB talented. Don't doubt that.

RE: Landry
Landry could have been a major difference maker. Kind of hard for most MAC teams to cover more than 1 tall, athletic receiver--either he or Russell would have benefited from the other being on the field. For that matter, Jones would probably benefit, too. That would have been one scary trio of receivers! [/align]

Some kids don't get offers or the ones they want and choose to go the JUCO route in order to improve their stock. Landry's highlight film was pretty impressive...bug loss in my opinion.

Please, 9 of WMU's 2014 Recruiting Class are gone including players like Seabury, Stewart, Bailey, etc. 3 of Fleck's #1 Signing Class in 2014 never even made it to their campus. Landry is done, move on. Rockets picked up a very good athlete in Diontae Johnson. I like our signing classes. I like the players that will be on the FB field for UT this season.

Johnson's been good enough to work his way into the WR rotation.Pretty impressive so far.

He can find the narrow holes. Has an interesting habit of bouncing outside when there's an inside opening. Curious if it's something he sees or just his reaction. Definitely has the speed to make it around end.

His team hasn't slowed down any, they just destroyed Cardinal Mooney.
