Flames In The NFL
Liberty Flames on NFL Rosters

Walt Aikens .......... Miami Dolphins .......... Cornerback
Mike Brown .......... Carolina Panthers ....... Wide Receiver
Niko Davis ........... Pittsburgh Steelers ..... Defensive End
Kevin Fogg .......... Pittsburgh Steelers ..... Cornerback
Jacob Hagen ........ St. Louis Rams ........... Safety
Rashad Jennings .. New York Giants ......... Running Back

I am still surprised that Chris Summers never caught on with a team and that he wasn't even in a training camp this year.

Chris Summers had all the talent but not the drive if I remember. He was good when he wanted to be.

Kevin Fogg had a nice game tonight, from a stats perspective. Didn't see the game, so can't speak for sure.

Kevin Fogg had an interception for the Steelers tonight. Although ESPN doesn't list it in the box score. They have a vikings QB listed with a pic...but none of the defensive backs for the steelers are listed with an interception. But it was Fogg that had the pic! I saw it. It was off a deflection.

He did fine. The int was being in the right place at the right time. It was a deflection that bounced right to him. He really needs to make some noise on special teams to earn a roster spot.

Walt Aikens and Mike Brown faced off last night. Both were outstanding!

Mike Brown was target 6 times and caught 5 for 58 yards, average was 11.6.

Walt looked good all night. He's listed #1 on the depth chart. Should be the starter this year!

A friend of mine with an "inside" connection told me last Friday he was moved to the top spot. He was at the game yesterday. Hope it's true.

I'm getting ready to watch Jacob! Kickoff at 8 PM!

Looks like (by stats sheet) that Kevin Fogg had another decent game. Niko Davis got playing time had a tackle and hit the QB once.

Looked at the stats at halftime of the Titans vs. Rams game. Don't see Hagen's name listed. Has he played in a game yet?

Jacob played a lot last night was credited with 2 solo 2 assist, looks good out there just hard to adjust to him wearing that #43 tho.

RE: Flames In The NFL
Apparently Kevin Fogg has had an incredible camp in Pittsburgh and has picked off several passes in practice. It is looking like he is not only going to make the team but also might be in the rotation in nickel & dime packages. It hasn't looked as promising for Niko in Steelers camp reports that I have seen. But there is still time to earn a job.

He still qualifies to be brought bakc on practice squad. I suspect that wll happen if someboy else doesn't claim him first.

I'm anxious to hear how osme of our more veteran folks are faring as we get closer to the 53-man roster.
