It's a BOY!!
My wife and I just found out we are having a little boy come December! It's our first child and to say I'm excited is an understatement!! Since the baby reveal party isn't for a few weeks, I just had to tell someone. So I am telling all of you! Other good news...University of Memphis just offered me a job, so I am moving back to Memphis! I have been working in the Nashville area for the last 2 years. I am excited to be moving back home and working for my Alma mater.

Just for future reference, until what age can a child go to a Memphis football & basketball games until they need a ticket? I've been a football and basketball season ticket holder for many years, looking forward to taking little dude next year to games!

Go Tigers!!

Congrats! I'm not sure exactly what age a child has to be to need a ticket... I know that I bought my daughter a ticket last year when she was five. I'm fairly certain I didn't pay when she was three, but I'm unsure about four-year-olds.

Either way, you have a while.

Congratulations! To answer your question, at basketball games they require a ticket at age 3. I believe it's either 3 or 4 for football....but depending on how small your child is, no one will question you.

If he can, UMTigers05 may be able to leverage a new job out of it.

For sure! I use to intern for the Athletic department several years ago, during my undergrad. I still have a few contacts there! ha.

When were you there? I was the IT guy in Athletics from 2001 - 2004.

Go Tigers!!

My wife and I just would pick our sons up as we went into fedex forum and never had a problem. They were at least three, of course it helped that our boys were on the small side. We stopped the last few years of the Cal days. Size is a big factor though not so much age. We never had a problem.

RE: It's a BOY!!
Good news is, most babies mostly sleep for the first few weeks. Makes it a little lower impact on the parents. They don't sleep for long stretches but they sleep a lot. At least mine did.

RE: It's a BOY!!
Congrats! Our boy recently turned one. It's amazing watching them grow and figure things out.

Also congrats on the job at the UofM! I spent 9 years working there (and years before working as a student) before we moved away from Memphis. It's a great place to work.
