RE: Jonesboro Radio Station's interview with CC officals
I think Idaho respectively gets the door. Then we are 12/14. Nice and clean, except South probably ends up in the west, not the best scenario for us, but I will like playing Texas St, ULL and stAte every year.

In that scenario USA would have to stay east for Olympics and slide west for Football.

Could there be a scenario where we drop uta?

Yes, we go to football playing members only, and UTA and UALR are both thrown out.

Why? Not going to speak for UALR, but despite not sponsoring four of the conferences 18 sports, UTA finished third in the Bubas Cup. We also had better attendance than four other once football was factored out, but not the other spectator sports UTA doesn't sponsor.

I listen to it nearly everyday from twice that distance. Maybe you need a better antenna.

I didn't say I wanted you out, but he asked for a scenario that would put you out and I gave him one. Now, if you guys had football, and had a home game the first weekend, I could have attended since I will be in Arlington Sep 3-6.

Listen to the AM version instead of FM. AM is crappy at night, but I can get it clear all the way to the Memphis city limits during the day. FM version has a max reach of 30 miles

I'm just upset that Wintzell's doesn't have a Jonesboro location yet...
They don't need one in Jonesboro. Their fans can eat at the Mobile location twice this year.

Absolutely not happening, probably ever.

not much reason to drop either one. both are easy to get to and provide pretty good opponents to round out the conference's olympic sports

Assuming they add CCU and EKU, drop Idaho and add NMSU for all sports, it will result in a 12/14 lineup that has both non-FB schools in the West, and no presence for the league in Florida. This can easily be fixed by going 12/16 and add two eastern non-FB schools. Specifically, North Florida and Florida-Gulf Coast. Both are growing schools in talent-rich Florida with nice facilities and plenty of room to continue growing, and it would get the league back into Florida. Two 6-team divisions in Football, two 8-team divisions in other sports.

I really think FAMU could be a good add (maybe) Historically would be the first African American University to move from FCS to FBS, has a rich football tradition, and already has a stadium that seats 25,500. They are located in Tallahassee not Miami, and really think they have a lot of potential.

Florida A&M could potentially be an interesting get but they would definitely need to upgrade their stadium; it hasn't had major renovation since the early 80s

I know the HBCU's in Louisiana are in a tough financial situation, how is FAMU doing. Alabama St recently built an OCS that both South and UAb fans are jealous of.

FAMU tried to move to FBS several years back and it was a fiasco; they had to essentially beg the MEAC to let them back in. They are in shambles. Not a feasible FBS candidate.

Yeah. I think they started the required audit and the poo hit the fan.
I seriously doubt FAMU would want to reopen that can of worms.
