Tim Stedman... Associate AD for Advancement at Missouri. Has previous ties to Troy as AD from 94-96

That's all I'm hearing at the moment. More to come soon.

None of these.

I'm not a Troy fan because of wins and losses.

You sir are correct

Oh I know I'm correct. Can't wait to see the reactions tomorrow.

You have absolutely no idea the excitement that would bring to Cajun country. I can guarantee you he is the most hated AD by his own fan base in the Sun Belt.

Hire him and find out! LOL
Most of us liked him at first. Got out, met people, fixed some things to make the game day atmosphere better. As time passed he has really grown a case of the "big head". We've darn near lost 2 or 3 excellent coaches due to his buffoonery! I'm sure many Cajun fans have a countdown clock going for the final year and a half of his current "contract".

So that would not be Stephen Ponder from Ole Miss.

Good grief guys. Let's just say it. Pretty sure it's Jeremy McClain, the Deputy Athletics Director for Southern Miss. With all the hints people are throwing around, not to mention like half the Troy coaches and fan base have started following him on Twitter, make it pretty obvious. I'd be shocked if it's not him.

I think you might have exaggerated than number just a little bit. Ten Troy followed total.

Heaven forbid someone exaggerate on this board. Like that's never happened before.

More than hiring and firing coaches, we need someone who is a great fundraiser, and can generate excitement for our athletic programs. I think that's where we are as a department. Jury's still out on men's basketball, but I'm pleased with our coaches in football, baseball, women's basketball, golf, soccer, tennis, and softball.

According to this mans bio... He's good at raising money

McClain joined the Southern Miss staff in October of 2012 as the Deputy Director of Athletics. In his current role, McClain oversees the day-to-day operations of the department and his direct responsibilities include revenue generation, which includes licensing, corporate development, fundraising and ticket sales. The areas under his supervision include marketing, communications, development and ticketing. In 2013, under his direction, the department set fundraising records for the annual fund of $2 million and another $8 million for the overall athletic foundation. He also has been responsible for securing funding and supervising major facility projects, including: a track renovation, a football turf replacement, the baseball weight room project, a golf practice facility and the Reed Green Coliseum renovation project.
