Road Attendance 2014
From an article in the Houston Chronicle decrying their new stadiun being at least half empty for five of their seven 2014 home games it must be noted that aside from the grand opening sellout the second highest attended game was against Tulane.

Also interesting, the worst attendance was for UNLV and the second worst was for U Conn.

I don't believe you're a real Tulane fan.

tulane game attendance had nothing to do with tulane....ecu and ucf had just been upset the week prior

the tulane game was the first game we had control of our own destiny for a conference championship and just beaten memphis and blown out usf & temple on wards only starts

we were literally in a position where our qb was undefeated as a starter and we just had to beat tulane, smu, tulsa and cincy to win the conference championship (and note that cincys best win at that point was tulane)

unlv & temple (not uconn) attendance were the worst as it was when most of our fans thought the season was over after an extreme amount of hype startng 1-2 and practically eliminated from the championship 4 games into the year (no one saw uconn beating ucf)..and temple was on weekday to boost

LOL

1. It was Homecoming
2. Houston had won 3 straight
3. It was one of 3 Saturday home FBS games, others being UNLV and Tulsa
4. Houston didn't even freaking play UCONN

RE: Road Attendance 2014
It was homecoming. Tulane probably was in the top 4 of traveling fans, however it was no more than 1500 people.

Utsa probably brought 4k, other than that everyone else had very few (which is expected)

I was surprised by the number of UCF fans who either made the trip or call Houston home. Could actually hear come of them chant U.. C..F.. at the kickoffs. Good on yall.
