Owls in NFL Camps
Had not seen anything dedicated to this as we have > 10 Owls in NFL camps right now. Some updates I'd seen

Jordan Taylor having very strong camp. Plenty of positive press. Saw this one today. Scroll down article as Kubiak has long quote about him.

Looks like Boz and Bryce have plenty of competition to deal with

Owls in NFL Camps
Might have to swing by and check out Mr. Taylor, Mr. Kubiak, and Mr. Thor this week in camp. Will report here if I do.

One of the back-up Denver WR's (Kyle Williams maybe?) got hurt today in practice and is out for the year. I don't think this other guy was a lock for the team either but that's one less guy Jordan is competing with to make the Denver 53-man gameday roster.

Even more love for Jordan.

This time a near-classic Yogoism by Broncos' wide receivers coach: "If he's covered, sometimes, he's not really covered"

I see the mention of punt returns being tried. What ultimately may help him stick on the 53-man roster (rather than the practice squad) is playing special teams on coverage. Not sure if he's playing with the first team there. That would indicate a stronger chance to make it.

Still rooting for him to make it. Let's see game production.

I know they all won't make the 53 man roster, but I gotta tell ya that is pretty respectable. And most played for Bailiff. Frankly I wonder how many mighty UT has

If any had played for an Owl head coach other than Bailiff, that would be one heck of a long pro career.

You are correct. Andrew was a freshman in 2006. David started at Rice in 2007.

Interestingly, the NFLPA says the average NFL career is -3.5 years. The NFL says its 6.5 years. Andrew will have passed both this year.

This will be his seventh year in the NFL, but really only his fourth getting meaningful minutes in the NFL. It took him a whoe to catch on.

Depending on how many make the 53 man roster, would that mean that Rice may have more NFL players than in MLB? Definitely more than in NBA, PGA Tour, ATP, etc.
