They weren't the first to make that mistake . . . And I doubt they'll be the last, but yeah . . . I get your point . . . .

They THINK they're gonna be joining C-USA but they are NOT choice #1, I promise.

I haven't kept up with what JMU's fans may have said over here, but if what I've read tonight over there is any indication, most of them are really po'd that their admin dropped the ball and didn't pursue an invite to the Belt. I think they'd have been a no-brainer for the Belt presidents.

Sadly, I have actually read that whole thread. There were times I wanted to tell them where to get off when they talked down about academic inferiority in the Belt. I was prepared to spew a whole comparison to TXST but I "held my tongue"

I think most reasonable JMU fans realize that the Sun Belt is the only way they're ever going FBS. I get that most of their alumni comes from North of the Mason-Dixon. But the Southeast is where the talent is. I wish they had as much interest in moving up as EKU does, because they are more prepared for a move.
