What Conference is your team located in again Mark?

Oh..the Big East...same conference that lets USF Fans use COW BELLS (guess that's ok), but free Thunder Sticks is the worst crime a company (gives them out to fans) can do.

Got it!

KL

PS. Your team must of been idle and you were on your period...seriously...what got your goat this weekend?

He's just getting all sour because potentially UCF can go 2-2 after next weekend and his Syracuse team is about to get a serious spanking next Saturday in Tallahassee and go 1-3.

Also wasn't Memphis giving out thundersticks at the Ole Miss game? Wisconsin gives them out at various sporting events as well as Michigan State. Doesn't Virginia do the same? I think that more than enough 'big time' programs allow thundersticks to be used....next subject.

I bet Clemson never used them since they cheer very well on their own.
At least you're man enough to admit you were wrong. I knew big time programs had used them but it wasn'w worth proving to you.

Go CUSA!

Actually Mark I have seen them at FSU, I have seen them at Miami and I have seen them at GT.

Your point?

All noisemakers are banned by the Big East, and they were banned by CUSA, so I'm assuming they still are. I have never seen a USF fan with a cowbell, nor have I heard them.
Thundersticks might be the exception. If they are banned, I wonder if the conference said anything to UCF about it.

Please. The Thunder Sticks are cool. Keep'em. I have seen them at big time programs before.

Go CUSA!
Name one.

I have never seen them at a major school.

PS: they aren't cool, they remind of a lame attempt to make noise
Supplementing the examples above:

<a href='http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.cavalierdaily.com/.Archives/2004/07/15/nsmarchingband-FILE.gif&imgrefurl=http://www.cavalierdaily.com/CVArticle.asp%3FID%3D20095%26pid%3D1166&h=315&w=480&sz=132&tbnid=UfyWSQf2uhAJ:&tbnh=82&tbnw=126&hl=en&start=8&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dthundersticks%26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D' target='_blank'>UVA (before the ACC banned them)</a>
<a href='http://bowlgame.oregonstate.edu/2001fiesta/bowlgame_gameday.html' target='_blank'>Oregon State</a>
<a href='http://www.bc.edu/friends/meta-elements/pdf/newsletters/BC_Charlotte_1_05_3.pdf' target='_blank'>BC's last bowl game</a>

But, seriously, as a line of argument this is about as stupid as saying that "real college football programs don't play in domes" since most of the college teams that do so play in Division I-AA or Division II.
