RE: Wait you can retake the ACT after you are enrolled
Any of our own fans that make apologies for the Rose thing, should have their heads examined. Duke still hasn't vacated their title even though Corey Magette wasn't eligible. Darrel Arthur wasn't eligible. Tee Martin wasn't eligible.

The Corey Maggett incident is completely stupid. There is sworn testimony in a court of law that says he took improper payments.

Talk to Preston, you may get a different impression..

I think the crucial point here is that the guy who supposedly took the test for Rose. Told everybody that he took and that started the investigation. Bledsoe's grades sound bogus and most likely are; however, I haven't heard anyone stand up and say they gave him a bogus grade or took the class for him.

Yep, he was flagged because of his score. If someone blabbed he would have gotten paid to be quiet.
Somebody told the Chicago Public Schools that his SAT score was fake during the course of an investigation into Roses grades being changed in high school. The CPS forwarded that information to ETS which started their investigation into Roses SAT score, which led to the rest.

The Derrick Rose thing was highly unusual because the ETS is neither obligated nor willing to share cancelled test scores with anyone but the testing recipient. You think Derrick Rose is the only Div1 basketball player in history to have his ACT/SAT score cancelled after the fact? Of course not. We were railroaded.
I think Duke didn't like the fact that we snagged a couple of their records, so they told the NCAA to take care of it. That's my theory.
Same thing happened down at Mississippi with a football player a couple of years ago.

And Darrell Arthur's high school got exposed for changing his high school grades so he could be eligible to enroll at Kansas... He played in the NC game against us and magically strict liability did not get enforced...
Bottom line, if we do not blow that lead and win the game, the Rose issue would be a moot one...

I've always wondered about that-Whether the NCAA would have relished yanking the title from us because we are a non-blueblood school. Plays into our paranoia, I know, but sometimes I wonder what their thought process is.

The NCAA is a corrupt organization full of immoral people and criminals. I hope once the Department of Justice gets through with World Soccer they turn their attention on the NCAA.
