Neat Southern Miss training video
The squad visited nearby National Guard training and staging area Camp Shelby for some team building.

Enjoy this guy while you have him. I would be willing to bet he is #1 on a miniscule list for weight trainers for Coach Bill Clark.

Your going to have to pony up. Our ad has made it clear they will do everything in our power to keep him.

We'll see. He's married to a Birmingham girl, he'd be returning to working under his high school coach, at his college alma mater.

If those things matter (and to a guy like Woodfin, I believe they do), we'll have a shot.

Keep in mind, he played for Bill Clark in HS at Prattville, Al and he is a UAB alumni. It may be easier for us than anyone else. He may decide not to move his family 3 times in 3 years, but don't be surprised when he comes back home. Money sure won't be the reason why he stays in Hattiesburg.

If he's as good as advertised...he won't end back up at B'Ham...he'll be in Tuscaloosa or Austin or Gainsville. Money talks...don't care how "belonging" he feels wherever.

Guys-This training is not new at Southern Miss. As great as Coach Woodfin seems to be, the team was doing this way before he got there.
Fedora's teams did it, and maybe even the last few of Bower's. This is more about leadership and team building and less about conditioning.
It's very cool that Camp Shelby is a partner to this.

You may be right about money talking, but if he ends up in Tuscaloosa in this lifetime, I'll buy you a Coke.
