Yep, another reason to believe Petrino will be here for the Long Haul. With ACC, He can schedule big games to start the season with.

I don't doubt Petrino is at Louisville for the long haul. He's very lucky a program the caliber of Louisville gave him a second chance. I don't see him getting a better offer any where else.

Bobby is a football genius. We are lucky we got him back. Plus is is invest in charity fund raising in Louisville as is his whole famly. Petrino-Louisville is a win win situation.

We took our lumps when we hired him, for sure. But there was no better coach available IMO. I also think it made it easier since he had been here before, he has family here, and had a good relationship with Tom Jurich.

This is the first match-up with Bama since the '91 Fiesta Bowl, can't wait to move the all time series to 2-0!

Saban was in Louisville about a month ago to receive the Blanton Collier Award. He spoke highly of Louisville and Todd Grantham as a DC.

That may be the only matchup imaginable where the city of Atlanta would root for Alabama.

Love it! The ACC is definitely paying off for UofL in a huge huge way.

Hopefully you guys will get out of the AAC soon and into a Power League...you deserve better.
