East Carolina dismisses starting OL from team.

The kid replacing the dismissed OL is only 6 ft 2inches and weighs 220 pounds. UCF will send all there blitzers to attach him...swarm the untested and unproven ECU QB. Thousands of Pirate fans will cry. much nashing of teeth...

Days late on this and while I hate it because Williams was a very high upside guy there was no guarantee he was going to be a starter this year.

he was on the 2 deep last year and played as a reserve. he has been on the 2015 projected 2 deep as a backup as well. so not a starter. but the kid did have athleticism and as one coach put it, "NFL talent". so its a loss for depth and a loss of what most consider a future starter (he would have been a RS Soph this year). In a vacuum, we're fine this year, but we may need a JUCO for next year.

ECU could dismiss their entire Offensive Line and they still would win at least seven more games than Tulane will this season... Just sayin'.
