He also brings up the point that one Power 5 team is more important than every single Group of 5 team. He mentioned that because FSU made the playoff, Georgia Tech made the orange bowl. But if Boise were to make the playoff, the "access bowl" spot would go to a power 5 team then. He says one Georgia Tech team is more important than all 64 group of 5 teams in the current system. He also says he doesn't like that.

Its just 2 of the media members who are hedging their bets to by voting for Toledo to win the West but NIU to win the MACC...that way they double the chances they can say they were correct...

It would have been fun to see WMU get 2 more points to be ahead of Toledo in the overall poll yet Toledo still having more 1st place votes in the West.

Sites the history of the teams in the conference, the TV markets, and the addition of NAVY. Says he wouldn't be surprised nor upset if they got an automatic bid in an 8 team playoff.

The arrow is pointed straight to the basement on the AAC though, I would avoid that conference at all costs just like a stock that is on its way down

You have Boise and Utah St and then nobody, the MAC goes 4 deep. In fact I think Utah St is probably better than Boise. If you are talking top heavy, then yes the MWC is probably better with those 2 teams but overall depth no. I like Utah St to get the access bowl spot this year
