Different story than that one. The uab page is back & it has a link to the story that WB is trying to link to but when you click on that link it gets the 404 error

I didn't think that existed anymore. Publish before anyone else, correct/ redact/ rewrite/ dodge questions/ second guess/ deny everything later if necessary. Claim al.com account was hacked and someone else posted the story.

There was even a lot of speculation on this board that he would try to bring in a full class this December to back count to 2015.

A full class in 2016 could be comprised of jucos, transfer, high school signees, etc.
Not every signee for 2016 has to be a high schooler.

In fact, in this scenario it is to our advantage to have a various number of years left for the signees.

I think this is referring to the graduating class of 2016 not the signing class. Those 2016 graduates especially HS will have more options but still could get 4 years of playing time with us

So, you think he's saying "The 2016 class won't be full of HS guys but there will be a handful in there. HS players willing to come here knowing the 2016 season will be a RS year, but we'll likely sign a lot of JC/transfers in 2016."

If so, that makes sense, it just didn't read that way to me. I read it as he might not sign a full class period.

I believe he needs a variety of players, not just 2016 high school seniors.

In fact, at this point in the game the better high school seniors have already committed to another school.

He will sign as many as he can, but it may be more jucos & transfers than high schoolers.

He has a limit on the number that he can sign for 2016 although he may can get a waiver on certain type situations counting against that number. i.e. a former player transfers back, etc.
