In your opinion, who's stadium would you consider most similar to your own in design, size, atmosphere, etc.?

I was trying to decide this earlier for UCF, and all I could come up with was FAU (metal/erector set design, albeit atmosphere lacking), or UConn, similar size/shape.

Off the top of my head, not my school, but Tulane IMO would be most comparable to WKU's Houchens Industries–L. T. Smith Stadium.[Image: File:Insidesmith.jpeg]

Hmm.... thats difficult. Maybe NC State or TCU. Can't say there are really any G5's that are super comparable.

Liberty Bowl Stadium, 2 miles from UofM's campus, is similar to UCLA's Rose Bowl Stadium (17 miles off campus), but is 41 years newer and seats only 60,000 compared to 92,500. Also, thankfully, vendors and bathrooms are inside our stadium rather than out on the periphery.

You take the upper decks and colonnade away from UVA's Scott Stadium, and you have SMU's Ford Stadium

I could see a comparison between Dowdy-Ficklen and pre-renovation Amon G Carter at TCU.

I think the design for autzen stadium and the liberty bowl are pretty similar. They both have much more and higher seating on the sides than the end zones

Physically speaking Byrd Stadium (University of Maryland) has a lot of similarities to Nippert. They have an extra deck on top of where we have Reed-Shank Pavillion.

San Diego St and Miami also come to mind with USF and Pitt for some reason...

I definitely can see the similarities. Especially in the lower bowl (nearly identical?)

No. The Rose Bowl is too much bigger than the LB to be comparable.

Autzen stadium is a better comparison.

Hogwarts Quidditch Field as both this and our OCS are works of fiction at this time. Just for fun, we're the only team allowed to fly on our field. 04-cheers

For Houston, I would nominate TCU or UConn as somewhat similar designs.
