I believe the same firm designed SMU's and UConn's. They both have a lower bowl sunk into ground level, but UConn added upper decks where SMU is all one level with an open end.

It reminds me a lot of TCU post-renovation

No. The Rose Bowl is too much bigger than the LB to be comparable.

Autzen stadium is a better comparison.

After seeing a photograph, I agree. I am ignorant of Oregon - rarely watch them.

Ironic that the Linc and Heinz would be so similar.

San Diego St and Miami also come to mind with USF and Pitt for some reason...

Strange, UMass has a similar stadium too...

they actually do have an on campus stadium they could expand to a size bigger than Tulane's and Tulsa's...agreeing to play in the Pats stadium was a dumb decision they publicly admitted to shortly after they actually played in

NCSUs is a lot nicer and has a much more of a big time feel, although only seating 8-10,000 more. I love carter finley although I hate the pack

To each their own, I like Carter Finley but I don't consider it "a lot" nicer than DF. I can't wait for the DF upgrades. I wish we had better leadership when the Murph was built.... NCSU's Murph is nice.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about the shape of the stadiums being similar and he'd be right. Notice that he pointed out ours is much smaller.

UCF's Stadium is almost a perfect bowl (all same 2 connected levels throughout the stadium), which is a very similar look to some of the historic college football stadiums that have a bowl look like Notre Dame:

Other larger bowl stadiums include Michigan (prior to suites expansion)

Y'all are not very good at this....
East Carolina = Louisville
50,000 vs. 55,000
Upper Deck on one side, football facility in one endzone, only difference is pressbox (ECU will have one similar soon though and capacity will be probably the same)

Maryland Stadium is also the same with 51,000:

Cincinnati is Washington State
40,000 vs. 33,000

Both are smaller stadiums with a bunch of building surrounding the field to create an intimate feel.

Temple is UMASS
68,000 vs 68,000
Both Northeastern City schools in NFL Stadiums are the same size

City of Memphis' Liberty Bowl with much less rows in their end zone sections reminds me a lot of the Old Sombrero in Tampa, that was similar (i.e. most seats/rows on sidelines with end zones having much less rows)...while the Rose Bowl is basically a perfect bowls with equal rows all around the stadium.

Tampa Stadium (had more end zone rows than Liberty Bowls and had 14,000 more overall seats than LB)

Does look like Tampa's old stadium (almost the same), compared to other college schools I would say Oregon.

Good point about Autzen...as its a mostly uneven bowl with one real large sideline (with roof cover) with the other being smaller and end zones that tapper off. (I think OU is adding a roof cover to the other side with some stadium renovations...either planned or just completed)

When it was built, Tampa's stadium was patterned after the Liberty Bowl.
