your 5 yr old will have a better time trick or treating at tiger lane.

yep, the kid won't encounter disappointment of someone turning out the lights to pretend not being home in order to not give out candy. It's kinda hard to pretend you're not at your tailgate spot on Tiger Lane.

I was at the halloween game last year, tiger lane would not have been as fun for my girls.

My daughter was 5 for last year's game. She came home with three full bags of candy and said it was the best Halloween ever. She got much more candy than she would have ever got in our neighborhood in much less time. She got to have more interaction with the folks giving out the candy, rather than just having it dropped in her bag and then running to the next house. She already asked about trick or treating there this yr.

Just curious, why do you think they wouldn't have had fun?

Mainly their best friends live next door and their cousins always come over for Halloween. It's not about getting a lot of candy, it's a big neighbrhood shindig with their friends and cousins, hayrides, etc. Walking around Tiger Lane is a fun Halloween experience for a lot of kids, it just wouldn't beat the experience at home with friends and family.

Now hopefully when they get a little older, they will prefer to go to the football games.

Bring the whole neighborhood! Other than the hayride it could be just as great if not better. Plus the kids get a whole football stadium to run around in after trick or treating. I know our tailgate group made sure all the kids that came by left very happy. The adults got a nice margarita as well to calm the nerves.

Where did you say your tailgate is located? Frozen or on the rocks?(now, if I can find some kids to bring...) 04-cheers
