Hey guys as we draw closer to the season and the return of Buccaneer football. I just wanted to see what games we're all the most excited for. Obviously I'm excited for every game this season since it's our first season back, but what games stand out the most to you guys. We're all excited for the first game back against Kennesaw State (and why shouldn't we be) and the Homecoming game against old rival Emory & Henry, but what else stands out to you. I also think our away game against Mercer will be important as it is our first game against a SoCon opponent. The away game against Montana State is also important, even though we will lose, as it will be our first game against a top-notch FCS team, and the first away game against Charleston Southern will be important as it is our first road game, period. So what games are you most hyped for?

All of them of course, but I'm interested to see how we stack up with Mercer since they're a future conference rival. All of the FCS matchups will be big. We're playing long established programs in Gardner Webb aced St. Francis but neither has been particularly successful. I'm anxious to see if our fledgling program can compete straight out of the gate with lower tier FCS competition. I would love to be in Bozeman for the MSU game. They're such a great program and their stadium is sweet. The Emory & Henry game will be fun as well. We need to crush them. They have a nice program but a lot of Emory alums have a superiority complex that needs adjusting.

That could be considered a stretch of the imagination by many, for a team that only won 3 FCS games in 2014. Those three wins were against teams that had a combined record of 8-38 in 2014..... ouch!!!!!!

I'm not sure that's a record a top-notch FCS team would have.

If you were not implying Mercer is a "top notch" FCS team....... never mind.

WCU was down for a l-o-n-g time -- good to see the recent rebound and high SoCon pick for 2015.
