RE: CUSA MEN’S BASKETBALL 2015-16 Early Team Rosters
We are definitely going to be the most unknown team in CUSA this year.

We have a solid starter back in Braxton Ogbueze. Bernard Sullivan showed some flashes in the limited PT he got after injury last year. Supposedly the Auburn transfer Benas Graciunias (sp?) has looked really good in practice.

Early reports from people close to the program are that Jon Davis should be really good and contribute year 1. Curren Scott too.

The others are virtual unknowns. Apparently Mark Price is extremely hands on though and doesn't just tell players to do things. He takes the time to explain why they should be doing things. Very much wants the team to play fast and smart like he did it seems.

I'm confident he'll be a great hire for us, but with his limited time to recruit and huge roster turnover, year 1 might not be a great one for him. His name alone is getting us some attention from a lot of recruits though. I have a feeling he's not going to specifically target a guy just because they have a high rating or exceptional athleticism though. He has said every player on his team will know how to shoot the ball. He's going to go after shooters. Alan Major and his staff went after athletes, hoping they'd eventually turn into good basketball players.

He finally got some good basketball players that were also great athletes his last season, but he still couldn't coach them into being a good team. We lost three starters from last year to P5 programs (Illinois, Wake, and NCSU), so the talent was there. I would have loved to have seen what Mark Price could have done with it.

I was really surprised you all lost your guards after Mark Price was hired. I guess they're too young to remember him...

You're only as good as your top seven guys. Y'all are my dark horse pick, I really like the hire.

RE: CUSA MEN’S BASKETBALL 2015-16 Early Team Rosters
We (UAB) will or should be the favorite to win it. Have a very young roster that can only grow and win together. We have the tournament also this year so that's a bonus. But there are a lot of keys to this. La Tech lost key players (Smith, Appleby, kyser, and stapleton.) Utep lost key players Hunter, Lang who was one of the best big men in the c-usa tourney and they lost washburn. Charlottes key loss was dorn. But I think it will come down to us, MTSU, ODU, and WKU.

Woods was pushed by outside influences when we didnt hire the coach his people wanted. Dorn wanted to stay but didn't want to sink with the ship after everyone else left. We had ACC coaches talking to these guys before our season even ended. Can't have nice things without the ******* up 85 and 77 wanting in on the action.
