RE: CAA Media Day
It worked perfectly for me after using Deez's link. I have no clue why or what was different about the way I was trying to access it from the CAA's website.

Does Vad Lee think he is at the NFL draft or at the CAA media day?

RE: CAA Media Day
Must admit that the start of the CAA Media Day production was an embarrassment...as if the production crew was not prepared...the talking heads seem confused and left out to dry by mics not switched on, video cues not ready for the switch...just bad. Not to mention the digital feed was jumpy. Some heads really need to roll.

The production crew was just too busy writing in Yeager's thank you card and lost focus. The CAA is small time, no one should be surprised by this, you get what you pay for.

JMU bodes a $40M budget to be in this bushleague conference... gtfo.

Takes confidence to wear Vad's outfit. White shoes and all, me thinks he's ready to take us all the way to the soccer field in TX. Man, I wish they'd move it back to Chatty.

The NEC was able to stream their media day on ESPN3, for comparison.

CAA Media Day
Slightly OT, but the south land conference has a media deal with ESPN3 to air their games.
I would rather have televised games on real channels, but is it worth being blacklisted by ESPN for 4 national games a season for the conference?
Nbcsn is showing that they're putting EPL soccer before anything else.

I do not mind watching our games via an Internet service. Face it, very few people outside of the schools represented will stay tuned into an FCS game. Therefore if we are hoping to gain exposure by being on NBCSportsnet or even CSN, well it's not going to happen.

Our issue is last year we lost a good product in Newlion and switched over to something unreliable. Even if it's now fixed we lost a lot of casual fans who tried to tune in but got frustrated and realized we are so smalltime by booting out Newlion to go on the cheap. It takes years to build a following, but one misstep tosses all the newbees over to the big boy tackle football programs on TV.

This didn't go in the direction you were thinking, nevertheless, it is applicable. Would I rather have ESPN3 vs what we have, you bet I would.

I wasn't talking about Madizone. I'm comparing real televised games to streamed games, albeit nationally available.

Not a tremendous amount of love for JMU players in the all-conference teams.

Commissioner and coaches speak after 10am.

Someone should pull the preseason awards from last year and compare them to the post-season accolades. I think JMU did quite well. My hope is that we have the CAA championship won before the Nova game in November. I am good with Nova being #1 and JMU #2 in the preseason.

Vad Lee looked damn good in that purple bow tie and those white bucks.

I understood that before I posted. I was working under the assumption that the Southland secured a deal to have every game on ESPN3 vs. what we have is one conference game on NBCSN, 6 games on CSN, the only viewing option for the Elon game is Stretch Internet produced by Elon. Our OOC games are Madizone for Morehead State and Lehigh. Then ESPN3 for SMU.

Many people, including me, do not get any of the CSN games. Therefore we have one game on TV that is pretty much available to all people across the US. I will have to utilize Madizone and any other method I can find to watch games. Therefore, I would take ESPN3 which is available to all people rather than try to use an unreliable product in Stretch Internet.
