The point is crystal clear to anyone paying attention. They got the exact thing that queers have been seeking(equal treatment) and yet.... They balked because of the vendors beliefs. Bottom line...These people demand that not only we give them equal treatment..but..we agree with their lifestyles in the process. When they don't get exactly what they want...they resort to intimidation and extortion. The are THUGS...pure and simple.
Yes, those specific people are bad people. But, so what? Why make this post on a messageboard like this about a relatively small wrong done by some unaffiliated and non-public figures?
It makes me think of some of the racially charged posts we've seen recently. Like, the one where the black man was shot in the back while running from the cops. A large majority agreed that the cop should be charged. However, it's still posted.
You're comparing the discussion worthiness of a situation in which a cop killed a fleeing, unarmed man to a jewelry deal gone bad between? Seems entirely reasonable.
No ones given me any reasons as to why this is worth posting about, and I think it's a fair question to ask.
Your point, in a nutshell, was that almost everyone can agree that the couple was silly in their protest....correct? My point was that almost everyone can agree that the cops are wrong in (certain) situations. So should we just not post discussion topics if (almost) everyone agrees?

No, what I was trying to do was to get the OP or others to admit their true motives for posting this story, instead of acting like it alone it just something they thought warranted posting about. In your example, the true motives for posting a thread about a police officer shooting an unarmed, fleeing suspect in the back are pretty obvious; they want to spur a discussion about police and the mistreatment among marginalized groups.
