Underdog Dynasty picks the Sun Belt
http://www.underdogdynasty.com/2015/7/21...-preseason

Lets get this baby rollin'

I think App St is going to fall off this season, I don't think they cruise through the back of their schedule like last year. They have a tough slate with Georgia Southern, Arkansas State, ULL, and USA all in the last 6 games.

The margin for error is razor thin and while it helps to have three of those at home we won't sneak up on anybody down the stretch. We have the potential to have a great season but expectations may exceed reality. A play or two can make the difference between a championship and fourth place.

I think App wins three of four conference games at home. I think Ark St. Wins the conference, while App and GS tie for second with App having the head to head win.

Ark St.
App
GS
Texas St.
ULL
ULM
Troy
USA
GA St.
NMSU
Idaho

Hondros picked Texas State to finish 7th? We need to set a tone this year that we are going to be a contender for the Conference Championship year in, year out. I want to see more dominant performances like we did our last 2 games happen this year.

Could be a good year for the SBC as a conference. Top 8 looks solid.

Were just hoping we don't lose 14 to season endings this year. We stay healthy we will win it. Now next year you can predict us lower aka 3rd bc we will lose skill players but this year with a solid offense finally staying in same scheme and aDline that added much needed size and depth we will be back to our winning ways of the previous 3 years

Isn't it crazy how 5 of the 6 possible matchups between the consensus top 4 teams are either not played or are played in Boone?

I can make a case for us finishing 9-3 (1 loss OOC, one conference loss to the Cajuns, and either stAte or Georgia Southern). I can make a case for us to be 6-6 as well (2 losses OOC, 4 in conference losses).

I really want it to be the former, man...

I think we go 8-4 this year . . . . Anything less than 8 wins would be a huge disappointment . . . .

. . . 9 wins would be sweet though . . . .

Both of you are fools. Have you not been following the experts and people on here? We're just middle of the pack. 8/9 wins? pfffft. 05-nono

Going to be another crazy season. Even more than the conference standings I'm interested to see if we make up ANY ground in our OOC schedule.

Love to see yall snake some OOC wins, but I would be more concerned about keeping the ground you have in conference. Thursday, October 29th is circled on my calendar TrueBlue. 2 wins I want as an alum are the away games in Lafayette and Statesboro.

yah yah 04-cheers In all honesty I am more concerned with Cajuns than Yall. I expect my Bobcats to go into Statesboro and get the W this year. I don't see Tyler Jones giving another pick 6 win.

So you also see the Bobcats successfully converting onside kicks with 6 minutes to go in the game?

How about another lucky break of getting a late hit call on 3rd and 38 that led to a TD? Bobcats caught a lot of breaks in a game that was on the verge of becoming a blowout.

Maybe you all will be invited to the Cotton Bowl to play Texas. No? Well maybe the Camillia Bowl, this year.

It's amazing what the passage of time can do to perspective.

To hear some TXST fans talk about it, Dobson's pick-6 came with 30 seconds to play and was a fluke that denied a certain Bobcat victory.
