Go to the 1:01 mark to see Monarch safety Andre Simmons absolutely destroy Delaware QB Trent Hurley.

That was Caleb Taylor laying the lumber.

Could be. I very well remember the play -- just not who made the hit. I used the pause feature to see if I could get the number, and that led me to believe it was Simmons. (All I could make out was what I believed to be a 5 for the second digit of the number.) I could not find CT's number and don't remember it. Anyway, if you are certain, I will go with Taylor, but it was a hell of a hit whoever did it!

LOL probably the only time Dixon has gone down without a fight haha, little bit of acting on his part 03-lmfao did it result in a flag?

Here is another video of the hit and yes it was a helluva hit;

One of my favorites was made by Ronnie Cameron. Skip to the 50 second mark for the collision.

Favorite part of the Hawaii hit is listening to smug Mark May "That's definitely helmet to helmet" then the flag is taken back 04-cheers

No flag but the good guys went down swinging. I'm digging the UTSA-Tech rivalry that is brewing. Safe to say neither team is fond of one another.

RE: Favorite Big Hits
My two favorite USM hits are easily:

1. The Patrick Surtain hit on the Houston player. Sounded like a gunshot inside the stadium when they collided. Side note on this video, how about the original Conference USA logo on the field? Makes you feel nostalgic.

2. Tokumbo Abanikanda against UAB. The video is somewhere.

Edit: I found it.

I could watch that Andrew Jackson hit on that UK running back on a loop all day! The look of "what the hell just happened" on UK fans that night will be something I will never forget.....You would think though UK fans would be used to losing in football and not act like they are a powerhouse just because they are in the SEC...Because we all know ' they Supposed to be SEC?"

Yeah, and if you watch the whole video, you see that Hurley was decleated more than once. He was taking it in the shorts all day long. That was one of the best defensive games the Monarchs have ever played.

I don't suppose that strictly speaking this is a hit. QB Darryl Hackney vs TCU in '06.
