I really like this guy, holds his block. finds the open spot and catches the ball. Physical Big Tight End, we will need this type of player when Cross graduates.

So.... how did we pull this off in this kid is in Auburn, AL? You would think that Auburn would be all over this kid? Maybe I'm thinking wrong or not skilled enough to play at Auburn?

Quote:Barnes’ offer sheet also includes Arkansas State, Troy and Memphis, while Auburn, where his brother attends school, has offered as a preferred walk-on long snapper at this stage. He is a standout and nationally ranked in that discipline.

Rivals shows that us and ark st offered no auburn. I think he has great size and catches well. He also has good feet. But I don't think he has SEC speed though. But neither does cross and he's viewed as the best TE in the conference. I think he's a pretty decent get.

RE: Noah Barnes
I am very happy to get a commit from his young man. You can't have a good placekicker without a good long snapper and this young man is "elite" in that department. Also love the toughness he shows at tight end. Good hands and physical. Love how he delivers blows when others attempt to tackle him. Plus - he has almost a 4.0 GPA.

Another great young man for our program. He'll get better and better under our coaching staff. Looks like we are developing quite the little Alabama pipeline.

Assuming Barnes signs, we'll have 3 sleeper TE in 2016
- Raby RS FR
- Magnifico (preferred walking) RS FR
- Barnes FR

We'll have 2 returners:
- Montiel RS SR (role player)
- Robby Young RS JR (could be good, '15 season will tell)
- Did Tyler Kolodny quit??

*assuning Tyler quit, I see us signing 1 top tier JUCO to solidify the position, which will let the young guys grow another year.

Kolodney is indeed gone. Not a loss.
