Seems like they scaled it back to me...though the original rendering admitted that it would look nothing like that.

Yeeeshhh....looks like Farmville, maybe hold off until they can get something a little cooler. lay some cement down and do bar tables, that would be awesome

I don't think I've criticized any of SF's ideas but...

I just don't don't get the appeal...maybe it's me...maybe it's cool and I'm not.

Anyone see something unusual about the Jumbotron picture?

The winner gets a big hug and kiss from me!

I doubt any cement will be put down....unless the South bowl just doesn't happen at all. Even then though I would like to see some leftover field turf instead of cement.

Its an away game...and the pic of the board is from 2013 before they put up the captioning ribbon board below.

The image is of Drew Hare wearing an away white jersey. If it's truly a home game then the jersey should be red or black. It's all about the little details.

Pay $600 to get some better food and access to booze while being able to get at field level?

Honestly I am still interested in doing this for one of the MACtion games if I can get a group. The heated tents would be worth the $100 alone.

Wow, looks like it is on the side of the hill, no flat ground?

I don't either. You're well back from the endzone, and at ground level you won't be able to see much of anything. If it was built on a berm or something I could understand. And even then you're looking through the window of a tent, unless you stand outside, but you'd look like a cow grazing since there's nothing out there except a white fence. Well maybe there are a few tables. But I'd want to be able to sit down. Maybe I'm missing something.

EDIT: maybe it is tilted up a little bit from ground level, now that I look at it again. But that probably means if you put your beer on a table it would slide off.

This is the part I really don't get. Unless they're going to flatten the berm, how is this even going to work?

I really have no problem with how it looks if it generates revenue, but I just don't get how this works.

Ya people drinking on a hill just seems like opening yourself to some legal action.

Would it really cost that much to flatten the berm? Heck we can dump the dirt over the Douglas remains as road filler.

If this is it then I see no reason why we wont see this fully set up on the 9th for the Family Fun Fest.

Anyone on here already commit to buying a pass to this?

This doesn't look much different than what it looked like at the spring game, which is an embarrassment. I don't expect many people wanting to pay $600 for that.

And I'm sure the food will be decent but not great. It will be mass prepared, and I'm sure they will do the best they can. Plus, you will be paying for that liquor, and I'm sure it will not be cheap. To me, the greatest advantage is the heated tent. I wonder how many people will spend the entire game in there for the November winter night games?

RE: New endzone club rendering...
We could add a Ferris wheel behind the tents so it can go along with its carnival look. That way we could charge fans an additional $20 per ride on the Ferris wheel. Watch the game while enjoying a ride on the Ferris wheel. Does anyone know if they are still selling those worthless bags of Cotten candy. The bag was a small handful of Cotten candy for a ridiculous price. There was actually a vender selling them in the stands. The Cotten candy would be perfect for the ride, and maybe you can bring your alcohol beverage too while you are on the ride. This could be all part of the endzone club.

Wait a minute. You pay $600(is that per game?) and you have to pay extra for the alcohol? 04-jawdrop Who the hell(outside maybe Barsema and a couple wealthy alums like Dog Fan) would even do it?
