and that is exactly one half of the equation.....

the expectation level that cops should be perfect is mind-numbingly absurd....

the other part comes into play when the absurd meet the absurd....

as previously mentioned, I've been fortunate on occasion 03-wink

One does not have to be perfect to keep calm and rational on the job. One does not have to be perfect to deescalate situations and keep ones emotions in check on the job. Millions do it every day. If they don't they will be fired.

RE: Texas traffic stop.
My problem is with the BLM Ferguson, Baltimore Riot Instigating Activist Crowd who came down to Houston and spun off at least 4 totally BS Conspiracy Theories at her "Vigil" last week. Among the BS bought hook line & sinker by the BLM Masses are that:

1. She was dead when her mugshot was taken.

2. She was raped in the Waller County Jail

3. Waller County Sheriff let one of his Funeral Director friends manipulate her body before the Harris County ME Autopsy.

4. The Arresting DPS Trooper came in through the Back Door of the Waller Jail (where there are no exterior TV Cameras) and killed her.

This weekend the Protesters camped outside the DPS Trooper's apartment and raised hell all day.

He was a state highway patrol officer, not a city police officer, so the effort to make money for the town is an incorrect assumption and the same goes for it being a speed trap.

Highway Patrol is in charge of enforcing traffic laws and failure to use a turn signal is a huge problem. Drivers should always use their signal and sometimes a warning ticket is a good reminder of that. You may think an improper lane change is trivial but it causes accidents and should be taken seriously. I am a driver's education instructor and this is a point of emphasis with us. I would estimate that 60 or 70 percent of drivers fail to use their turn signal consistently. The more information you provide other drivers on the road the safer travel is for everyone.
Ok fine. He was there to get money for the state and not the town.

A police officer barreling down on a car causes accidents too.

Ok, so you are holier than thou and have always used your turn signal. Give me a break.

I don't think there is any fine with a warning ticket. It is just a warning. My problem as I get older isn't turning the signal on, its remembering to turn it back off.01-lauramac2

lol....I just bought a 95 sierra....the lights are manually operated.....oh, the horror 03-wink I have the same damn problem...gettin' old is fun when you can laugh at yourself....

Then there is no need for them.

Detectives solve crimes after they have been committed...patrolmen do in fact prevent crime and enforce laws.

Class dismissed.

You are not a Police Officer, Trooper, Special Agent are you? You are a security guard correct ?

lol, you don't have be a cop to know the job description. 01-wingedeagle

A little respect, kindness, and decency goes a long way in dealing with police.

Seems like the #BlackLivesMatter crowd could use a lesson in common decency and social behavior.

The trooper that originally arrested Bland has officially been fired.

Quote:The Texas state trooper who arrested Sandra Bland, the motorist who days later was found hanged in a jail cell, was formally fired on Wednesday, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Trooper Brian Encinia was fired after failing to rebut disciplinary charges leveled against him in January, Public Safety Director Steven McCraw wrote in a letter of final termination. Encinia had been accused of failing to act courteously during his July traffic stop of Bland, prolonging her detention, violating general orders and perjury.

I really dislike explaining 'between the lines'

and your response defines 'perfect'...

how do you not understand that if a cop isn't 'perfect' in the eyes of some diptard media diptard, his life is either ruined by the media or the perp.....

where do you people come from....what fk'n planet do you live on?

jfc...........costa.........just another line 1, 3, and 4 to a 'T"
