Hows that working for you? If I ever lose access to login information I think that's how I'll go. Seems they have offer the most options for the best price by far.

I've been running through some free trials. Playstation Vue seems to have the best value, but I don't think they get FS Cincinnati which is absolutely necessary for Reds and some Bearcats games. I think the only provider to offer this in Cincinnati is Sling TV, which is the lowest price package. For me, Sling TV is the best because all I really want to watch is ESPN or Fox Sports and you can get this for around $25.

Yes with the Playstation Vue Core package for $34.99 you get Fox Sports Ohio, NFL Network,
ESPN, ESPN2,EspnU, EspnNews and qualify for Watch Espn. It does not have CBS Sports yet.
I may be wrong on this but I believe to get all the Espn channels and Fox Sports together on Sling you need to upgrade to their $ 40 package.

PS Vue is great for all but CBS Sports Network. I get all Reds, Cavs, and Bluejackets games. I also have the $35 package. I use my FireTV boxes and sticks with it, sideloaded Kodi (it isn't "jailbroken", that is an incorrect term). I have been this way since the beginning of the year and I've only missed a couple of CBS sports games that wouldn't stream over Kodi.

A fire TV box with Kodi is my next purchase. I've had too many problems with the firestick. Plus I want devices that I can hardwire so that I'll actually get the speeds I'm paying for.

If you signed up for DirectTV now before February 1st it had the best deal. They gave you a free firestick and gave you the $70 package for $35 a month. I guess I say best deal because I like the History Channel and PS Vue doesnt have it. But I did recently cancel it after downloading Kodi. I need to update it, and cant find a good youtube video on how though.

Also, The youtube streaming service that just came out is also $35 a month and it has all the same channels as PS vue, but it is the only streaming service that I know of right now that actually does offer CBS Sports Network

RE: Cutting the Cord
DirecTV Now had all kinds of bugs and streaming issues at that point as well as no DVR. It gets terrible ratings still at this point. I made the right decision then and I'm quite happy where I am still.

RE: Cutting the Cord
I follow the live TV streaming market pretty closely but for what I want and what I'm willing to give up Vue is the best value. If someone comes with a better package I'll switch but none of the competitors stack up for my needs

I agree I have Roku on my televisions and Playstation vue is great. Really all these services are in flux now. I tried a seven day trial of Directv Now with a firestick(not
on Roku yet)and it was terrible. Hulu televison and Youtube television look promising but they too are not available on Roku yet.

I run Vue on Roku as well. The Roku App isn't as good as the Amazon, Apple, or Playstation due to a lack of a guide but it isn't enough to make be buy a Fire TV. If someone is new and buying a streaming device with the intent of running Vue I'd recommend Fire TV (box not stick).

RE: Cutting the Cord
Does anyone have the new Apple TV. Mine are are the older version and they don't add new apps to it anymore. I was wondering what apps are available on the newer Apple TV. I am a sucker for Apple's simplicity but not if they have the same limited apps available on that version.

For example do they have a playstation vue app on it?

Nevermind, I keep forgetting my main reason for not purchasing another Apple TV is that I cannot add Kodi.

The problem is not cutting the cord....the problem is paralysis by analysis since there are so many damned options to do it now its hard to keep track.

Have no fear, I am sure that the government/gigantic corporations will do all they can to limit your options soon enough.

When I moved to a Condo you could really only do TWC due to association rules. I gave TWC like 3 weeks notice, and they gave me 1 4 hour window one week after I moved. All they did was flip a switch in the building. TWC also screwed my billing for months. I was literally on the phone with them for 20 hours over the course of weeks. Moved over to Sling a couple of years ago, never spoke to a human being. I can change plans whenever I want online, never had an issue. Dropping off the that cable box at a TWC office was a nice feeling. Using a Roku 3 device.
