I'm sure he's a nice enough guy, but if he can't get his crew to march in a straight line even in the pregame routine which is the exact same thing every single freaking game, then maybe it's time to replace him with someone who can produce a P5-worthy band. Half the time I can barely hear them play when they're on the field.

Hesitate to jump in this fray, but if I was king for a day, I'd do whatever I could to change the band. Look, I think the do a great job at what they do, bit their style does not match big time football. They use high school show band style, which has way too much woodwind (and pit). More brass, more brass, more brass. I know this kids work hard and their quality of playing is fine, but the style does not reflect big time football. In conjunction with the style change, the fight song also needs rearranged. Way too "busy".
If Frenz needs to go, so be it.
I'm fully aware that our band works with some limitations that other colleges don't have (CCM discouraging participation), but I think we can overcome it.

Bummer about the Halloween Theme, I always thought that was cool/unique. The sound in that movie is what makes it such a classic.

Yes, the cop was totally within his rights to shoot that unarmed man in the head for daring to question his authority.

If you look closely, it looks like that crane is lifting one of the temporary construction offices. My guess is it is on top of the crane.
