RE: UAB Football Returns in 2017
I should have said it wouldn't make sense for uppeclassmen to return UAB if it meant losing a year or two of eligibility. Just my opinion......

Clark said the same thing yesterday. He wants what is best for the players, and for most that might mean staying where they are.

No tougher than the last 20.
PK Nick Vogel who came to southern miss in the spring is returning to uab this fall.
Very classy of USM to let him go.

Not fair? Right now all of you have 85 scholarships and walk-ons. We have maybe seven guys. I really don't want to hear what's not fair. C-USA needs a strong UAB in 2017 pulling good attendance. Not a weakling pulling 7,000 a game. UAB was sabotaged and had it's legs chopped out from under them. Hopefully we will see some justice soon and some people in jail.
Yeah, yeah. UAB fans and players got screwed. Nobody is arguing this.
But USA and their coaches had no part in that. Accepting transfers from UAB was actually helpful in the circumstances. Carte blanche for those players to leave now does them a disservice. And no, it's not fair.
But again, I wouldn't expect many to transfer back anyway, so I doubt it's going to matter.
If a former uab player transfers back the school he left gets use the scholarship. Less impact than a player being injured or having grad issues

Ok. And more impact than if he stays, right?
Won't matter much. I'm just surprised the NCAA is allowing it.

Of course there is an impact. Especially on the players who took classes for majors with credits that didn't transfer or being forced to change majors. It's about what's best for the players
