Seems many of you guys would like to make that move.
In short, most fans want to move to FBS. Some do not. The administration does not and is using the SBC academic excuse, which many know is a red herring. The MAC and CUSA do not have openings but the perception of some is that we would move to those conferences if/when they do expand.
I do not believe that 1) they will have openings any time soon, 2) that if they did they would look to an FCS team over an already transitioned FBS team and 3) that our administration would move up if they were invited by either of those conferences.
As an old dude myself I enjoyed the Georgia Souther rivalry quite a bit. Tracey Hamm was one of the best football players I have ever watched live and I had the pleasure of taking in a game in Statesboro back in the day. Great crowd, great atmosphere and good game for sure.
Your frustration is showing through. I honestly don't think that's true.
It's not frustration. I honestly think it's true.

The fact it hasn't happened does not mean the administration does not desire to move, nor that they're not working on or planning for such a move. Call it what you want, deny you're frustrated, but the fact it hasn't happened yet is also not a sign the administration is making excuses, which they haven't.
Not picking a fight, just trying to interject a bit of rational perspective on the situation as we wait.

You think the administration wants to move to FBS. I do not. We can agree to disagree.
I am not frustrated, I don't really care anymore.
