Contract negotiations was supposed to start June 1. Ingram said they did. They did not. They started June 25.
Heard contract by July.
Heard contract no later than August 1.
Reports yesterday contract by mid August.
Sabotage article yesterday.
Today contract by September.
Rah Rah article today.

That Ray is waiting to make sure the pledges roll in before he commits to actually reinstating football?

My response is pretty simple.

Ray show us your pledge form. Show us your level of commitment to the process. We've worked like our collective hair was on fire for months and hundreds of pledges have been made. You want us in a bowl after you gave us a 2 year death penalty? Show us how much it means to you

I believe Pumpkinhead is setting us up for " well the pledges didn't come in quick enough sooooo we are killing it."

The only way that Ray is openly proven wrong is if he allows the program to return.
I don't believe that will happen at this point.

I don't think this is PR, but just another poor choice of words. Someone says that any other time and it's just a bit of wishful thinking tinged with some real hope. Coming from the guy that axed the program and essentially passed all the costs of the teams to us, it just sounds straight up fake and self serving. Either way, goes to show you how far he is out of the loop.

Could not agree more. Though this does bring in a reason why they want to push football start date to 2017. They (I'm thinking AD Ingram here and possibly HCBC, not so much as Watts) want to take the time and build a team who is ready for conference competition. They don't want to host a team who have been thrown together quickly to take the field, have the nation's eyes on them, just to, excuse my language here, to step on their dick. I am not advocating 2017, though I do see some positives from that train of thought. I know I am just repeating what everyone else as already said, but I am good with whatever decision NCAA and HCBC announce as a start date.

Most Blazer Fans have said 2017 will be fine with them if Coach Clark says so. We do not trust Watts and so far most do not trust Ingram because he is toeing the Watts/BOT line.

I see that. I still haven't made a personal opinion on Ingram yet. I am leaning towards hopefulness for now.
