Hello fellow Huskie diehards. I was just reading an article about Hare and this upcoming season and it got me thinking about our QB depth…

I’ve been out of the loop lately, so please excuse me if there are obvious answers to my following questions:

1) Is Anthony Maddie still on the team?
2) What is the depth chart looking like behind Hare?

Anyways, the season is near!! Lets make it another historical season in Dekalb.

It's going to be Hare, Maddie, and Graham and Hare better stay healthy.

The fall roster has not been posted yet but 2014 details have been added to the bios of everyone except the guys we know are not coming back such as McIntosh, Scott Taylor and Jareem Fleming. Maddie's bio includes his 2014 results so that would imply he is back.

Interestingly (maybe only to me) Rasheen Lemon's bio includes his 2014 results and Mycial Allen's does not so read into that what you will. If Allen is indeed gone that would partially explain the signing of JUCO safety Taylor Mashack.

Correct, but for those who redshirted it says "2014 - Redshirted" or "Did not see action".

I don't think Allen is going anywhere. His Twitter is still full of NIU stuff and I think he'll be competing for a starting spot

Scott Taylor is gone? If so, add him to the list of highly rated NIU recruits who never saw the field.

Ugh. He should be. There was nothing from NIU other than suspended indefinitely but everyone here pretty much thought he was gone.

I'm pretty sure he's still on the team, for the reasons you stated above. IIRC, it was him, Moore, and Mayes that were the 3 top safeties in spring ball. Possibly just a miss by whomever updated the stats.

I wouldn't worry about depth. we seem to have a good ebb and flow of QBs come in recently. those that want to stay and work, stay and work out fine. those that dont. go on to not-so-greatness.

??? Cuz' you can't beat out a Heisman finalist and an NFL QB? No shame in not being able to play at that level.
